Hi, I’m Alexis Ahrens. Welcome to my blog!

So, you want to know something about me … These days I consider myself a write-at-home mom and naptime entrepreneur. I live in the San Diego area with my musician husband, Toby, my toddler son, Lucas, and three cats who shed way too much.

A recovering teacher, I now put my creative energy (when I have any) into creating the second edition of Baby’s Little Log Book and, of course, this blog.

I also facilitate a mastermind-style group for entrepreneurial moms and do a little freelance proofreading on the side. (Well, it’s really all on the side. The only thing that isn’t on the side is my family. Note to self… remember it’s all on the side.)

And just to be completely random, here is a picture of me on my 40th (and most recent) birthday, swinging from a trapeze out in the boonies somewhere north of San Diego. (I’m in the pink … and I missed this catch, by the way.) Aside from childbirth, this is the hardest, most frightening thing I’ve ever done on purpose.
